Harviestoun is a small brewery born in Dollarfield in a hay loft in 1985 (the little mouse in the logo represents the only brewer's companion in the first years of production). Since the firtst period quality of the beers of this producer was high and so, in 1991, the old copper has been replaced by a 10 barrel one.

In 2004 brewery moved to the actual place in Alva, with a copper of 50 barrels.
